Installing Mandriva Linux
So, you like Mandriva Linux and want to try it? You can have a look at the world of Mandriva your way using one of the LiveCDs that are offered here. These cds allow you to try Mandriva Linux without modifying anything on your computer. In this way, you can discover and get used to Linux without any risk. Once you are used to it, you will be able to install it using the same CD in about ten minutes.
To download Mandriva, choose the version you prefer in the environment section at the top of the page.
If you do not know which one to choose, we recommend that you choose the KDE version on the left. KDE is an easy-to-use environment that looks somehow similar to Windows, so you will be able to use it in a similar fashion.
