  • Make folderview as a desktop plugin

  • Check, and list here, as many as possible plugable devices like ipods, pendrives with data, cd's, dvd's and check how KDE4 is handling they.
  • Check mime types, example, open a .doc arquive and check if it opens with OOo or if you get a list with available apps. to read this type of file.

Issues in KDE3 2008.1 migration to KDE4 2009.1

• KDM theme is gone, only a blank screen. Login doesn't work.
• Desktop without icons, plasma not configurable (missing folderview plasmoid)
• Icon missing in panel, only a 'X' icon present. (missing showdesktop plasmoid)
