Assembly India
From Mandriva Community Wiki
My name is Anshul Jain and have been an avid Mandriva user since 2005, and been using Linux since 2004. In my official capacity I work as a Manager for Tejas Networks in Bangalore, India. I have a fairly deep interest in Mandriva Linux as it is an official deployment platform for all of our Test Engineering platforms for various Contract Manufacturers worldwide.
In addition to having a professional interest in Mandriva, I am one of the founders of the Tejas Linux Users Group along with a few other Mandriva enthusiasts. Currently we have a deployed base of ~30 Mandriva PCs in our company.
I am Mandriva user since 2004-05.We used Red Hat Linux in college labs(about 30-50 stations out of total of 150) at SSJCOE,Jalgaon and at home I used Mandrake 9.1. Windows NT loader used to crash when we used C++ compiler ver 3.0 for programming, hence we did all the serious project related programming using gnu c++ on linux. Our project was based on genetic algorithms for finding best solution for economic dispatch of power.I find graphics/GUI of mandriva better than Red hat. I will like to spread awareness about Mandriva in and around Vadodara.

I am Jeevachaithanyan Sivanandan , a Mandriva(Mandrake) user since 2003-2004. I used Mandrake on my machine on college. Since then, I have been using Mandriva as in my personal and professional use. Yes, I have tried so many other Gnu/Linux Distros but never found one which is most usable and stable one like Mandriva. As from perspective of stability, usability and intuitiveness , Mandriva is way better than Ubuntu and it is the only one Distro available. But,Mandriva lacks of effective marketing and that is why it lost the wide spectrum of users.
I would like to spread news and awareness about Mandriva and its best usable features to mass.
