it-mandriva.org is the new Italian forum born in november 24 2010 to promote help and support italian Mandriva users. We are "young" on the net but allmost the older users of the previous forum are here willing to help new users and solve any kind of troubles anyone can have using our distro.

MandrivaItalia is the italian forum for Mandriva Users in Italy since 2004. This site is part of the network ILDN, we have worked for many years to spread the use of Linux in the Italian territory, organizing events, making training courses and much much more

About me
Who am I? My name is Alessandro Sironi, Mandriva user since 2005 (the last "Mandrake", Mandriva 2005 LE) and actually I'm the Italian representative for Mandriva Users. I was born in the far far 1975 in a little village near Como, in the north of Italy where actually I live with my wife, my cats and lots of Mandriva's PC. I use to use lots of Linux's distros but Mandriva still keeping my heart and then Mandriva become the "ONE" I always use for most of all. I'm involved into development of free software and I use Mandriva also in my webfarm, where I have lots of websites and services working very well on it! To promote Mandriva, I have done some Mandriva based LTSP (Linux Terminal Server Project) to help keeping money and speed up productivity in the company who gave in my hands their CED. I'm Marcello Anni and i am a mandriva user since 2004. I don't have developping and informatical skills but i'm involved in the promotion and improving of the distro since a long time. I'm also studying economics so i hope that, with the help of all the italian mandriva users, my knowledges and ideas can improve the quality of the distro and help to resolve the organisation problems and make better the relations betweeen the company and the community.
