With a Linux distribution as large as Mandriva Linux, that is developed by both Mandriva employees and community volunteers and contributers, policies must be implemented in a clear and concise fashion so that everyone knows "what the deal is".

As the distribution grows and changes, it's even more important to have clear and readily-available policies for people to review and follow. The following are the official Mandriva policies.
