Components
The Mandriva build facility is composed of a cluster of build hosts, each running Cooker as the main system:
- i586 hosts: n1, n2, n3, n4, n5
- x86_64 host: celeste, klodia
Your /home directory is located on one of the i586 nodes, and is NFS-mounted on each of the others for cooker systems only. It's recommended to use your personal node for any I/O-intensive tasks.
A Mandriva mirror, synced every 20 minutes with the primary mirror, is available on /mnt/BIG/.
Access
The only access to the cluster from outside is through the gateway, kenobi.mandriva.com, using ssh with either password (LDAP account) or key authentication. Once loggued on kenobi, you have to bounce to the node of your choice, with the same authentication methods available.
For more information about setting up SSH to access the Mandriva build hosts read here.
