The Mandriva Localization Project - Maintainer

This page contains useful information for all language maintainers (coordinators).

The coordinator is the contact point for the group. Each language group should have a coordinator, so that other people can reach the group easily and new members can request for help directly from a person in the team.

Become a language coordinator

Please, take first a look at our existing translation teams. If your language has no team, thus no coordinator, or the former coordinator became inactive, please, take your chance and step up to become the coordinator of the team.

  1. Create your Mandriva Account if you haven't already do so.
  2. Post a short self introduction mail to the cooker-i18n mailing list and to the list of your local team if there's one.
  3. Add or Update your translation team info on the translation teams page.
  4. Organize your team, build it up, help your team members...take all the leader actions to make your team a strong and successful community inside the Mandriva Localization Project. But don't forget have fun! :)
