This is NOT the usual XfceLive. Skiper's Xfce is a FORK of the usual LiveCD produced by the XfceLive team. Some changes introduced in this LiveCD (as an experimentation) may be merged into the usual LiveCD for the next release.

New stuff and modifications
This LiveCD offers the Xfce environment and contains the following additions and changes :
- Integration of the colourful Oxygen icon theme with the necessary adaptations for Xfce, deleting the Tango and Gnome icon themes.
- Addition of several backgrounds (more than 20) from the Mandriva background contest.
- Addition of OpenGL screensavers.
- Deletion of to redundant system sounds and use of a more short and pleasant login sound.
- Addition and customization of Mozilla Thunderbird (added the Oxygen theme, added modules such as Lightning and Address book).
- Customization of OpenOffice.org (Oxygen theme, darker background, no more signs of margins and objects limits on the papersheet area, non-serif font as default).
- Addition of Cheese to test and play with a webcam.
- Modification of the desktop's default appearance (icon sizes, default shortcuts).
- Userdrake : addition of new user avatars, initially delivered with Gnome, slightly modified to integrate them in the Mandriva login theme.
- Other minor modifications.

LiveCD content
The ISO image offered in download includes several occidental languages. The environment included is Xfce and the LiveCD has been build using Draklive in 32 bits (64 bits version is not planned yet). Even though this is a One edition, no proprietary program or component is included. However, when the software medias are installed, the non-free media is automatically enabled. After having installed your medias, you can reconfigure your graphic card to install the proprietary graphic drivers if you want to.
This is a community-made product. There is not official Mandriva support provided. If you are having problems, you can ask for help in Mandriva forums.

Troubleshooting
Parole : Cannot read a video without proprietary drivers
Trouble : When you try to view a video using Parole media player, he displays an error message because of a missing Xv module. This issue occurs generally only when the computer is equipped with graphic cards who require a proprietary graphic driver to work in optimal conditions..
Solution : Open the Mandriva Control Center and add the complete set of sources. Then, using 
drakx11, reconfigure your graphic card and display settings and accept to use proprietary graphic drivers (this question should be offered to you). The necessary packages will be installed automatically. Restart your session and you will be able to view videos using Parole.
Thunar : Desktop icon in the shorcuts sidebar appears transparent.
Trouble : In the Thunar file explorer, the desktop icon in the shortcuts sidebar appears partially transparent. This is due to a bad reading of the image by the display component used by Thunar and Nautilus as well.
Solution : Only replacing the incriminated (svg) icon by an equivalent displayed correctly can solve the issue.
