Bugs on KDE

• Nepomuk 'Indexing Disabled' window popup-up randomly
• No Qt style is applyed over GTK apps
• Nepomuk is indexing even on Live(pendrive) sessions

Improvements - KDE

• Disable effects on Kwin by default
• Switch the Mouse cursor to Oxygen-Zion
• Use the ambiancy color scheme on KDE
• The Kwin theme still IaOra, switch to QtCurve
• Set QtCurve as KDE style
• Switch the Mouse cursor to Oxygen-Zion
• Remove totem from Kickoff menu

Installation

• Review and simplify the direct installation first steps, actual steps are:

Installing:

  • What is your timezone ?

  • Choose your keyboard layout
  • Disk partitioning

Firstboot after install:

• • What is your timezone
  • Setup of date, and clock(HW,UTC,NTP)
  • Choose your country
  • Select a network conection(eth0, wifi...)
  • Choose the connection(hardware) you want to configure
  • IP auto or dhcp ?
  • Ethernet IP setup , hostname and DNS
  • Network connection control - permit users to manage, start connection on boot ? - ENABLE AS DEFAULT
  • You want to start the connection now ?

  • Remove unused hardware and locales

General

• Restart X via 'service dm restart' is not working correctly
• Time is detected incorrectly sometimes (hwclock issues?)
• NetworkManager systemd unit does not starts due to a conflict with udev
• Check 'Start connection on boot' as default, on installation stage
