why remove them?
i don't see any reason to remove them. this is a wiki, where ALL the contributors contribute to add info and articles, i added them under the "Going further" section, they are very useful and the repositories provide software not available for official release or not upgraded yet. in plus, i say that they aren't official. i restore them
