Installation av Mandriva

Jasså, du tycker om Mandriva och vill prova det? Du kan ta en titt på Mandriva's värld på ditt sätt genom att anvönda någon av Live-versioner via CD-skiva som erbjuds här. Dessa CD-skivor tillåter dig att prova Mandriva without modifying anything on your computer. In this way, you can discover and get used to Linux without any risk. Once you are used to it, you will be able to install it using the same CD in about ten minutes.

To download Mandriva, choose the version you prefer in the environment section at the top of the page.

If you do not know which one to choose, we recommend that you choose the KDE version on the left. KDE is an easy-to-use environment that looks somehow similar to Windows, so you will be able to use it in a similar fashion.

• Install Mandriva One: This page will help you install Mandriva Linux from one of the Live CDs above without removing Windows at all.
• Last configurations: After installation, you system is nearly ready. You may need to configure a few elements, and complete some basic configuring.
• Installing and removing software: Once your computer is ready, you can install more programs and plug-ins that can be useful for you.
• Configure your computer: This link brings you to a configuration portal containing all the configuration tools and possibilities to customize and set up your PC as you want it. It also directs you to configuration help for some hardware.
