  • I agree with this type of solution, however, I tried to look for a maintained partition selector like extipl, but so far, I've not found any that are maintained beyond 2002 Smart Boot Manager. This may be a problem with all the changing hardware around. This sort of software probably needs attention by an expert in low level disk access and OS loading.

  • I tried extipl a couple of weeks ago, and although I strictly followed the documentation it didn't work for me, so I removed it.
