  • More fixes for samba3 built with --system
  • Tested samba3 as DC on LDAP backend (works, client login with profiles works, WindowsNT admin tools work to an extent, need to test more features)

  • samba-3.0.0rc1 in production (with said patch) on 9.1 as member server (only files)

• Kerberos authenticated smbclient3 works against win2k3 and win2k, kerberized domain joins (net3 ads join) work against win2k, but not win2k3
• Fix samba breakage due to gcc (smbmount authenticated, smbpasswd domain join, possibly more) - fixed by dropping optimisations from O2 to O1
• Test samba3 (basic authentication against smbpasswd works, authentication against samba2 schema LDAP server works)
