Point 4.3 Optional support for writing on NTFS drives
It is not currently possible to use ntfs-3g for removable drives in KDE.

This is not correct. Today a user posted an article in MandrivaUser.de how to activate ntfs-3g with one click, using this on a fresh 2007.1 installation: http://flomertens.free.fr/ntfs-config/
Works on a USB harddisk under KDE. No problem.
